Getting dross on the underside of 1/2" A36 since we swapped nozzles. Same program ran clean last month. Anyone seen this after a nozzle change?
LaserERP › LaserSocial
The product is the quoting and shop management. This is one feature inside it — start with LaserERP.
LaserSocial is a trade board shared by the shops running LaserERP. Ask why your 16 gauge is snapping back, sell the brake you stopped using, argue about nitrogen pressure — with people who'll actually know the answer.
Sample posts — the real board is inside the app.
What's on it
No algorithm deciding what you see, no strangers, no outrage. Just the shops that bought the same software you did, talking about the work.
Posts sorted by topic, so a nesting question doesn't get buried under supplier gripes.
Equipment moving between shops that know what it's worth, instead of a dealer's markup.
Any member can open a board on a subject worth more than one thread, and it stays put.
A trade profile you control, so people know whether the answer came from someone who'd know.
The rules
You accept these when you join, and they're shown again every time you post. Anyone can report anything, and a moderator can still read what came down.
This is a trade board. Laser, fabrication, machining and the industry around them — nothing else.
No personal or family content of any kind. No photographs of children, ever.
Don't post anything a customer gave you in confidence: their drawings, their prices, their names.
Other shops here are your competitors. Assume everything you write is read by them.
Classifieds are for equipment, tooling, material and services. Not for anything else.
Disagree about process all you like. Abuse gets you removed.
What stays private
Every other table in LaserERP is invisible between shops. This one is deliberately the opposite — so the wall between them is built to be checked.
Administrator controls
The honest objection to putting a social feed inside shop software is that people will stand at a machine reading it. So the administrator holds every lever: who gets on, when it opens, how long they get, and a full record of what was used and said.
Switch it off for the whole shop and it's gone. Leave it on and you choose which employees get access, which hours it opens, and how many minutes a day each person gets. When someone's time is up, the board closes and the job list doesn't.
Getting on it
LaserSocial is included on every LaserERP plan at no extra cost. Start a trial, and if you want the board, switch it on and join from inside the app.
